The story of Adam and Eve is the story of man’s creation. In Genesis, God made a man and a woman in His image to dwell in Paradise forever whilst under His watchful gaze, protection and care. It’s also the cautionary tale of ‘biting the hand that feeds you’, betrayal and Paradise Lost to ego and ignorance. Regardless of your faith, it’s a compelling story.

For Perez, it’s simpler than that. It’s a love story. Set in the fantastical world of God’s universe, His mind, long before the first beasts on the planet Earth transformed themselves from ancient mammals to eventual thinking beings, outside of God’s grasp.

In the end, it’s a tale of two lovers that chose each other despite the consequences.
